By Car

We recommend drivers approach the University from the junction of the A64 and A1079 on the east of the city, from where the University is signposted. Postcode for satnav: YO10 5NA

By Rail

York train station is well connected to the rest of the country. There is a frequent, fast train service on the East Coast line from London to Edinburgh. Plus, there are direct services from Leeds, Manchester and other major cities.

Parking

A parking permit is included in all Conference packages. There are around 800 parking spaces on-site, including disabled access parking bays.

By Bus

National Express coaches run to York from many UK destinations and stop outside the railway station. There are buses from the city centre to the University approx. every 10 minutes during the day, the journey takes around 20 minutes. The bus stop is located outside the main train station entrance.

By Taxi

A taxi from the train station to the University will take approx. 15 minutes. There is a taxi rank just outside the station. Uber is also regularly available in York. It can often be just as quick, and significantly cheaper, to take a bus.

Accommodation details will be supplied within your delegate pack which will be emailed to you one week prior to Conference.
